I’m Michelle Lee.

A content creator, money coach, and storyteller who retired from the hustle at 35. After building a successful 15 year career in financial advisory and reaching the pinnacle with Top of the Table recognition, I chose to step off the treadmill and redefine what success means on my own terms.

Today, I help others rethink their relationship with money and life through content that’s honest, relatable, and purpose-driven.

Through my platform @askmichellelee and my coaching brand @bettermoneyeq, I share stories, life lessons, and practical wisdom to inspire people to live with intention not just ambition.

A Trailblazer in Redefining Success

After 15 years as a top-performing financial advisor, I reached a point where external success no longer matched how I wanted to live.

Better Money EQ grew out of that realization. It’s where I focus on the emotional relationship we have with money: how our habits, beliefs, and past experiences shape the way we earn, spend, and define success. My work is about helping people feel more at ease with money, and more aligned with the life they want to live.

I now focus on lifestyle and storytelling content across Instagram, YouTube, Threads, and TikTok. I collaborate with brands, media, and communities that want authentic narratives about freedom, lifestyle, and success redefined.
